1. General Policy
Due to the nature of pest control services — including labor, materials, travel, and regulatory compliance — services rendered are generally non-refundable once performed.
Pest control is a service-based industry, and payment compensates for professional time, expertise, and product application, regardless of pest reoccurrence.

2. Initial Service Refunds
If a customer is dissatisfied with an initial general pest control service:

The Company will offer a complimentary retreatment within the coverage period.

Refunds will not be issued solely due to visible pest activity after service, as some activity may occur during product effectiveness periods.
Refunds may be considered only if:

Service was not performed as contracted.

Technician error is documented and verified.
-
No product was applied.
All refund decisions are at the sole discretion of the Company.

3. Recurring Service Plans
For monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or mosquito programs:

Payments cover that scheduled service period.

Once service has been completed, that service fee is non-refundable.

Cancellation stops future services only.
Prepaid service agreements may be prorated at Company discretion for unused future services, minus:

Any discounts applied

Initial service costs
-
Administrative fees

4. Termite Services
Termite inspections, treatments, and bait station installations are non-refundable once materials are installed or product has been applied.
Termite warranties are governed exclusively by the signed termite agreement.

5. Bed Bug & Specialty Treatments
Due to the intensive nature of bed bug and specialty treatments:

Deposits are non-refundable.

Services are non-refundable once preparation instructions have been provided and scheduling confirmed.

Results depend on full compliance with preparation requirements.

6. Missed Appointments & Access Issues
If a technician arrives and:

Access is denied
-
Pets are unsecured
-
Utilities are disconnected
-
Conditions are unsafe
A service fee may be charged, and no refund shall be issued for travel or time incurred.

7. Weather & Environmental Factors
Certain services (especially mosquito treatments) may be affected by:

Rain
-
Irrigation
-
Wind
-
Landscaping changes
Refunds will not be issued due to environmental conditions beyond Company control. Retreatments may be scheduled when appropriate.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact the Company directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Initiating a chargeback without allowing reasonable resolution efforts may result in:

Termination of service

Collection actions
-
Recovery of administrative fees and processing costs

9. No Guarantee of Complete Eradication
Customer acknowledges:
Pest control reduces and manages pest populations but cannot guarantee permanent or complete elimination due to structural, environmental, and biological factors beyond Company control.

10. Company Discretion
All refunds, credits, and adjustments are issued solely at the discretion of Gulf of America Pest Solutions LLC.
